We picnic'd on the mountain between Changwon and Jinhae with Jacques and Jenny

Now that we can bike we are a force to be reckoned with! With Jenny clinging to the back of Jaques bike we headed up the mountain. Of course I stalled on the first bit of climb, I am still horribly bad at major inclines...

The view was grey but nice, and the picnic was warm with friendship. Not an animal to be seen, of course, but a lucky magpie graced us with his presence.

The lack of even a squirrel is really creepy to us as Canadians. You see nothing around you, but it is as if you do see something in the wilderness- an echo of over population, obsessive consumerism, and industry that chugs along in relentless production. The only animals you will see we met was a dirty dog manning the military look-out and of course a token jacket wearing teacup dog.

Ah Korea!

The view points out why Changwon is the 'back-up' Seoul, in case it ever fell to the North (or any other threatening body). Changwon is protected on all sides by the mountains, and Jimhae on the opposite side is a portal city, which has potential air ports and an automotive industry that can be switched to military machine producing monster if needs be.
