So these are some of our little darlings. Aren't they kickass?

They work harder than anyone on Earth, are bright and eager to please and they are slowly overtaking America as the next world power: these are Asian Children!

Seriously tho, you can get a class of rotten, rowdy boys but they will still never cease to amaze you or make you smile.

These kids' poor grammar and limited vocabulary will always make your day as they tell you you are pretty because they like you and that is all they know how to say! They also are told to be good in school constantly at home so they love to compete for your praise and attention, how could you not feel like a million bucks!

These Children come straight to Hagwans after dinner and stay some days until 11 at night. They love to give you tiny gifts, and easily show open affection and I often see Kevin trying to get his arms all the way around Matt. They are amazed at Matt's arm hair and will stroke him and play with it as they listen! HA ha ha! So cute!

The girls are sweet as candy and love to joke and tease and bask in your attention so they love to behave and answer questions for you. One girl went on a trip to Jeju-do (the Island) and brought me back a pink panther cel phone hugger, what a little darling! :-D

So far I am loving teaching; we teach long hours and need one more Foreign teacher at our school but there is nothing better than going to work at a place that pays you to talk to kids all evening.

The biggest challenge is the students that speak little or no English. They are shy and embarrassed at not knowing what you are saying and if you put them on the spot, they either look on the edge of tears or mock you in Korean to save face. I don't know what to do but be patient and keep trying. Most of them have warmed up...

Oh well, it sure beats Opinion Search, or setting up the whole dreaded "the house/mortgage, the car, the job, the kids, the husband/wife, the dog, mutual funds/ investments..." plenty of time for that right? Everything is good in its own time ;-)

To be on this adventure with your best friend and nothing but the wild blue yonder ahead of you! Simply Marvelous!

I gotta laugh at Matt
Ok, the rest of the time I was just being silly, but seeing Matt in these pictures goofing off... Matt is a dork ;-) But a happy one at that, so I'm glad for the two of ya!
