The most difficult part of our trip was going through US customs. I was so humiliated; stripped down to my stocking feet, my jean jacket and belt taken from me as I stood there in my basic garb in front of at least 50 people, my heart wilted. I felt so humiliated. I waited as the female officer checked each rivet in my Nevada jeans belt for explosives and I almost cried, could I still do this?
Everything went up from there (save the fact that my suitcase was checked by our good friends at the Department of Homeland Security and, for their trouble, the cheeky stars and stripers STOLE my special Laura Secord candy cane I got for Christmas
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Trevor on his engagement, it's about time buddy. She is a lucky gal, I hope she knows it ;-)
