Well, I never thought I would do one of these things but it seems like the best answer to bridge the gap between facebook and mass emails.  I only want to do one thing!

So I will load my photos and do some writing on this thing so y'all can follow along for the ride...while you work!!  hahaha  :)

So, so far in my travels I have been to Leon where I hiked and overnight trek to the Telica volcano.  This was a fantastic trek that gruelling and authentic, being that we can to pack in and out all of our gear, food and water (all 8 litres of it!).  Our packs topped  out at about 22kg.  The first day we hiked about 16km.  By the way the guide team I used, Queztal Trekkers is highly recommended as they a charitable group and they have good gear, and the guides are a bunch of cute girls too  :)

After Leon, I moved to the beach, where I chilled for 9 days.  I also got pretty involved with a local turtle hatchery. We hatched and released baby turtles.  I wrote an article about it as well.

Now I am in Matagalpa, where I will enjoy the coffee and the local sights if I ever get off this BLOG website!  Later Skaters!

PS sorry for the captions on the pictures.  It got a little messed when I uploaded them.  Be sure to check out my videos at the end of the pictures.  They're entertaining :)

till next time, adios!
