The first noticeable feature of Cambodia is that it is quite flat, with a large horizon, producing a large stunning sky. People we had talked to had not enjoyed Phnoom Penh, capital of Cambodia, we thought it was ok though. Yes, there are quite a lot of beggars, but their not intrusive and Cambodians seem to be especially nice, accommodating people. We see one of the killing fields locations and the tuol sleung prison. I find recent history interesting, even if it's harrowing like the khmer rouge reign of Cambodia. We also try some local dishes in the evening such as Fish Amok, a fish, coconut curry.
