Berlin has been the most interesting city that we have visited so far.  The city is beautiful, the people are friendly, there are street vendors on very corner, and the public transportation is easy to master.  We stayed in a well-known hostel in the middle of the city with three other tourist, two from Australia and the other from Brazil.  Our first night was spent roaming the streets, eating kebaps, and exchanging worldwide factiods with our roommates.  We have found that students from other parts of the world are more interested and more informed about our politics than we are... they have inspired us pay more attention for the time being and in the future.  Aside from all of the great sights, tours and food that we have enjoyed on the road, the people that we have met and everything that we have learned along the way has made this trip unforgettable.

Our second day in Berlin we went on a free walking tour throughout the city.  It was absoutely amazing!!  I learned more in the 5 hours with our tour guide than every history class combined that I ever sat through.  Click through all of our pictures and read the short explanations to re-live that day!

We are currently in Madrid and will post our next entry soon.  Our time in Madrid got off to a rocky start, but more on that later: )
