We arrived to Prague by train three days ago. Our train ride was very interesting because we shared the cabin with two other foreigners, one man was from Ethiopia and the other from Iran. We had a long conversation with both men, both of whom were only able to speak broken English, about politics, stereotypes, culture, family life and education in their respective countries. Three continents in four seats... it was pretty amazing!!
We are staying at a small hostel, Tyn, in the middle of town. Everything is within walking distance but we bought a three day tram pass without knowing that everything worth seeing would be so close. We have walked all around the city, visiting the most popular tourist attractions including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and St. Nickolaus Cathedral. The streets are very busy here, both day and night. All of the streets are crowded with restaurants, bars, cafes, and souvenir shops
Tyler and I have found the most excitement in riding the tram as far as possible in order to create our own tour. We got lost several times which made our tour that much more fun!
Tonight were walked around the city once more to take in the view of the city while it was all light up. Charles Bridge was the most popular point because the castle was visible from there. As Tyler will attest, the scenery was very romantic.
We will be leaving for Berlin tomorrow at 10:00 am. We are looking forward to visiting a new city with a fascinating history.

. Prague has turned out to be a very interesting place, but not as attractive to the younger generation.Tyler and I have found the most excitement in riding the tram as far as possible in order to create our own tour. We got lost several times which made our tour that much more fun!

watch out!!
Tyler....be careful of those foreign cheetas....they're not like the ones here in our zoos! Thanks so much for sharing this fun space with us. Your pictures are fabulous. My favorites so far: Night in Wein, Tyler and the kebab!, Schonbrunn...so many good memories from there. Then Charles Bridge and Prague Castle at Night.
We picked up the CD and it plays perfectly on the computer but not in my car...bummer. Nick (Dianne's husband) will be here this weekend so I'm sure he'll figure it all out for us. Thank you so much for taking the time to do that so late on your very last night here. We'll reveling with you at Jenny's wedding through your music.
Travel safely...hugs, Kay
