Two more sleeps. There's never enough time, but Friday morning will arrive and I will be on my way.
I enjoyed writing my blog last year when I was in Suriname and so decided to journal my travels and keep in touch the same way with this adventure. I doubt I will be on the internet as much as when I was in Suriname. This time it's all play and no work. Well, except for the conference.
It is har to belive I'm off for almost 4 months of travel and such diversity. I've never had such a packing challenge before - a conference, Paris, hiking, summer weather, fall weather and then South Africa and heat. Yikes! I hope my layers and attempts at coordination work. I guess they have shops in Europe though, right?
Anyway, stay tuned. First stop - Amsterdam (apparently there is rain scheduled for the next week)
It's hard to leave the grandgirls and I am reminded that I am once again missing everyone's birthdays!! That's an unpopular thing to do to an 11 year old!

Hi Mary it was nice to come home to your Log. We got home a week ago and then it was a mad rush to clean trailor and head down to the Lower Mainland for Thanksgiving. Denise had leased a Beautiful log chalet for Thanksgiving and we had a beautiful time with David's folks and as. It was nice to have a good visit with David's folks without so many people around. We look forward to more travel new... show all
