Today we had to take a picture for our passport, it took about two seconds each, not that exciting. After that we went  to a coffee shop called Tche echT Cafe, Maia ordered a strawberry smoothie, Hope ordered strawberry juice, Noor ordered mango juice, our uncle Youssef ordered a chocolate milkshake, and my mom ordered lemonade with mint. It was all very good. Then we went to what we thought was just the Temple of Hercules, but actually there was a palace there too. It was aboslutely beautiful there, but very hot. I would guess it was about 95 F. Everything was made of limestone and there was a large stone gate that I believe is called Hercules's gate. There was also a mueseum there that told all about the site (and it luckily had water).
The traffic was terrible on the way back and there was no air conditioning in the car we were in, but we eventually made it to our Grandparent's house.
At the house three of our cousins were there, Dunia, Abdel Nasser and Khaled Mary and my grandma

. Nasser immdeiately wanted to play kent and Dunia decided to join. Hope was teamed up with Nasser and Maia with Dunia. Hope and Nasser's team won the game after playing it for two hours. Then some of our other cousins came, Saif, Umar and Malek. We were all soon upstairs playing kent. When we wanted a break we decided to walk to the super market. There we bought loads of junk food for everyone in the house.
It was dinner time by the time we got back and we decided to go to a shawarma place. Shawarma is pita bread with shredded beef or chicken in it, put with many different spices. Ziad bought the sandwiches and packed them in the car. On the way back to the house with all the cousins cramped in two cars we sang and danced along to arabic music. When we came to the house we ate the shawarma sandwiches and went off to play kent.
We played for four hours straight, before everyone had to go at midnight.
We said our goodbyes and most of us went off to bed.
