I mentioned in previous entries how much I resented the amount of needless worrying I did before embarking on this trip.
Heeding those warnings, I rid myself of anything that would
(a) make me a target as far as jewellery was concerned and
(b) cause difficulties if any form of ID was stolen.
Hey! The light went on in Rio- I hadn't brought my driver's licence.
After a frantic search, by my support team in Wa (thanks guys), it was and expressed mailed it to the car hire company in Ireland.
Of course, it wasn't there when I arrived.
