Today was the opening for the Library located in the Community Center next to La Prusia. I hope you can see through the pictures how much the children were excited at the thought of having books available to them. Much of the thanks comes to Heather, who organized the whole shabang! Children from Las Camelias and Elba Zamora attended as well as those students from La Prusia (the school I am working in). We even had refrescos and cookies. There were a little over 100 people there, including parents. Check out all the pictures and share in with the joy!

Dar, I'm so glad you're having a blast. Sounds like something I'd enjoy. Maybe we should consider doing something together next summer! I saw the book Where the Wild Things Are! I have it in Spanish (and English...). haha.

So happy that I could get a glimpse of the library opening through your pics. The kids with Noelia were my favourite posse of siblings from Las Camelias.
