On sunday I got myself up for another adventure. We took a taxi to las Isletas, or the islands. Granada is on the northish end of Lake of Nicaragua, and in this lake formed 365 islands formed 10,000 years ago by an erupting Mombacho. It was a fabulous day trip. It was much cooler on the lake, plus everything was just soooo green. We took a boat around some islands, and ended on one with a restaurante. There we passed the day. One interesting thing is we stumbled upon a isleta with monkeys, that had been placed there by some rich man who feeds them. Or atleast, that is what our boat guy said. Enjoy the pics!!
