The next day I was planning to leave for Istanbul, but we slept in and then Volkan convinced me to stay another day. I was having a really good time, part of me thought I should hurry up and get to Istanbul which is a huge city with lots to see and do. But luckily the part of me that realized I was on vacation won and I spent the day hanging out with Volkan, going out to the hospital to talk to one of his professors (he's in med school,) having fried liver for dinner, the local specialty, which is much tastier than it sounds, and drinking more tea.
