Anyway I thot I would take a minute to say more about Kocherinovo, my satellite site where I will live with my host family throughout my training, until the end of June. Turns out there are less than 2500 people living here. The town is roughly 10 blocks square. There are no street lights. There is no internet café and no public payphone, altho I just found out there is one phone booth in the post office that you can use for international calls. You pay the postal worker directly, and of course it's only available during post office hours
I am loving it here. I would never plan on my own to live in a place this small, no matter what country I am in, so I am really enjoying an experience that will be completely different from anything else in my life. Even when I finish my training I'll most likely serve in a town that's more like 25,000.
