We departed at 9:45. We stopped and climb a hill to view Mt. Conner that looked like a toothbrush and also a salt lake on the other side of a hill. The sand almost in red covered the hill. We arrived at our destination in mid afternoon and had lunch at one of the cafes at this resort place. The expensive stay at this place costs $700 per night we were told. The architecture of this resort was made so that it blends in to the surroundings. Our young guide, Chris, took us on a walking tour of Ayers Rock. I couldn't believe that I was really seeing it with my own eyes. It is a huge rock and kept as a sacred place.
