We were happy to see brewed coffee at this place for breakfast. In Australia hotels and motels are not equipped with a coffee maker in a room, but they have an electric percorator and instant coffee packets and tea bags. Even at the restaurant most of the time they serve instant coffee.
We toured the Gold Mine. Our guide, Kate, was a stout looking woman and knew the material. The Gold Rush was in 1930's and Kate explained and operated some of the machineries they used to use. At one place we stopped she used a car battery charger looking thing and wounded up. Then she asked Marvin if he would put a charged line on his left nipple. (She was really kidding.) Marvin said, "No, thank you I'm not a man enough or something like that." She then touched the table and it really ignited. The tour gave us the insight to the time long ago when people's quest to search for gold. Kate said the work of mining was harder than the works convicts had.
