I was awaken by the sound of commotion around 5 am. Marvin told me the noise started around 3 am, but I was sound to sleep until the noise got so loud. We come to fjnd out that an Aboriginal man started a fight with the people at the motel we were staying in the middle of the night. Evidently he was drunk. Tyler and 3 other students were sleeping right next to the door and Tyler told us he was really scared. The police came about 30 minutes later and by then this event was calming down. Well, it was a night to remember. After having breakfast at the motel, we boarded Karl's coach and headed to Kakdu National Park, another World Heritage place. Our first stop was for the Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River. These were salt water crocodiles, some up to 20 feet in length. The bottom part of the boat was glass windows and we could go up to the second level to view crocodiles. A guide tied a pig snout on a rope that was attached to a pole and dangled this bait. You will see in the picutures how these crocodiles jumped up to get a bait.
