My wonderful host in Delhi has been Niranjan's good friend Rupaal Singh - CEO of RiSE - Rural and Urban Innovative Social Entrepreneurship - which is a very new Micro Finance Institution operating in semi-urban communities outside of Delhi.

Rupaal is a young, dynamic thirty year old with a clear vision to help the world and is focused on a traditional Grameen model of microcredit - with some modifications - including that they are going to village meeting every 10 days rather than the normal weekly meetings.  They now have 550 borrowers and are quickly hiring and expanding.

Rupaal has done an excellent job of setting up my other meetings in Delhi and guiding me through my time here.  I am very appreciative and relieved to have him always just a cell phone away,

Rupaal is another reason to have optimism and hope of what is happening in India.
