Woke up to a lovely blue skies, sunny day. MJ sat and read his book on Custer and Crazy Horse plus got a 3 minute video of one of the freight trains going by the camp. About 10am we set off for the State Hot Springs Park just down the hill in Thermopolis.
They were nothing like five years ago - the drought has slowed the springs to a trickle and the colours have all gone to be replaced by a sandy mud nothing. The colours were created by all the different algae in the water. It was another disappointment.
We walked round the park and then headed for the nearby Dinosaur museum which at $8 was not a good deal albeit they had a mocked up model of a massive brontosaurus type skelton plus the T-Rex and that guy with the horns and armour - Triceratops
Back at the park we sat next to the river (Wind - the river not me) and read/sun-bathed.
A short trip into town got us a really poor cup of coffee (which we enhanced with our own granuales) and then later a huge ice-cream and yoghurt. Yummy.
Another swim back at the camp plus got to see Oddy again (he was out on a walk with his dad) and massive Pizza Hut pizza in town completed our lazy Sunday.
More awful, drone-y singing back at camp which we missed and early to bed at 10pm.
Didn't manage to sleep until 1am and the midnight freight train did its usual.
