Four days and we're still not out of Florida >> but we have found a wonderful place at last >> Pensacola Beach. It's the other side of the bay from Pensacola (the first US settlement albeit by the Spanish) over a 3 mile long bridge.

It's a spit off Gulf Breeze - another long bridge to get to it >> thru a toll but worth it - wonderful wide, silver sand beach with bars along it. There are a few hotels but not too high and set well back from the beach.

We had crawfish today for lunch >> they are like prawns >> there was some special festival on over the weekend. They were good, but a lot of hassle to get very little meat. You throw away about 95% of what you're given.

Then we went to another bar full of old biker types checking out the young girls - probably one of the best ways to spend a Sunday afternoon i'd say...and they played 70's rock including a track from Houses of the Holy - now when have you EVER heard that in a UK bar?

A few piccies of things:

Firstly a picture of the Blue Angels which is on the hotel lobby wall. Blue Angels painting in Hotel

Then our "mid-sized" and now very, very full car
Our Lovely Toyota Corrola

Then the vehicle I'm looking to hire next.
Our next vehicle??

Finally to prove I do go down the gym.
The Gym to prove I do go there!

We're eating in the room tonight >> so far it's cost us about the same as eating out (but we have got a bottle of wine included) - eating out is very cheap here.

We're off to Biloxi, Mississppi tomorrow (so just passing thru Alabama via Mobile) - which is renowned for its gambling, We 're gonna pass on that and just carry on with the sunbathing and chilling. Only another 177 days to go...tee hee.
