Hey folks, hope all is well. So since the last time I wrote to you all the 3rd session campers have shot home and there's only one and a half weeks to go...I can't believe how time has flown! Anywayz I've been blessed with the youngest boys (8 to 10) for the final session in bunk Battleship..and I'm telling you it's a whole new experience going from oldest boys where the main problems were trying to keep them from the horizontal jigg with the oldest right now with these guys I find myself administering stool softeners and nappies. Well all the same, they're really great fun and I'm enjoying this session so much I'm thinking it's definitely got to be up there with the best. One of the kids is a cracker and so funny. He's got no quarms about telling the other guys that he has two mums! :)which is true by the way! We put a really funny skit on Monday night for the rest of the camp and we've just got back from camping out overnight with campfire, hot dogs and s'mores (the kids go mad for thesebasically toasted marshmallows and hersheys chocolate in two honey crackers!). So the dance is tomorrow night (western theme) and the last capture the flag is on saturday (this has got to be my favorite activity..basically you split the camp in half and all the campers/staff into two teams, each of which occupy one half of the camp. The winner is the team that captures the other teams flag without being caught..if you get caught you get taken to the gaol. Allin all it's paintball without the guns and paint pellets!:)
On sunday I'm on a day off with Matt (Oregon) and Neil (New Zealand), two top and crazy guys so we should get up to some fun as a threesome...stand by for the next update.
Last day off a few of us climbed Lassen Peak (the volcano in the back of the Lake Almanor piccy). It was an amazing climb and my years of experience of climbing Croagh Patrick in Westport, Ireland came in really handy. It's over 10,000 feet high and the scenery made for some incredible pics. (I set that target on the climb dad...chinese food later and a beer!).
After camp Jorge (Mexico), Brendan (Canada), Mike D (US) and I are off travelling to San Fran for a week and are then flying to Las Vegas for 3 nights for a bit of table action..As I'm budgeting the free drinks will come in handy, but no doubt the roulette table and texas holdem will see a small bit of action! While there I'm gonna try to get to the Arizona side of the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley in Utah.
Then it's off to Guatemala and Spanish school.......

Well that's about it for now folks, so take care y adios amigos,

Martin :)
