Here the team got to grips with really working as a team and after 7 seven long hours in the local Bus staion we were ready to embark upon setting up campsite and beginning some real hard core walking!! In the long seven hour wait the team had to find fuel for the good old triangle stoves, food enought o feed an army!!!! How to get from here to our actual designated campsite and also who would take charge of what????? Poor old Mat!!!
IF YOU HAVE GOTTEN UP TO THIS POINT I AM GOING TO RETURN AND COMPLETE THE ENTRIES BUT HAVE RUN OUT OT TIME FOR NOW SO CIAO CIAO
Ok so Heike never did, but as you might guess having travelled for a year and the being in a group which included collage first time and a world challenge leader well out of her depth plus about 20 uk six form teenages. Our time to keep a blog was greatly reduced. But there is nothing like (for young adults) that the buck stops with them and you can bull some of the time but you may get found out. Thinking about getting into shape and doing it are not the same.
So character building it was, it was great to see the meek turn into leaders and gain confidence while others had a reality check. Carn't beat the knowledge that you cannot let your team down you still have 10 miles to go and did i really need to bring all though clothes, cause nobodies carrying for you ( mum aint here). But they were a lovely bunch
