We woke up at 5 am this morning and packed up in the dark. All of us lined up at the zip line leaving our tree house and jumped out into the pure darkness. It was incredible. One of the guides went first with a head lamp and shined it on the landing platform so you'd know when to stop...just at the last moment. It was quite the adrenaline rush!

We made it to the treehouse where yesterday we had seen the gibbons for an awe inspiring fog over the mountains below. Although we only heard a few gibbons sing it was well worth it. Unfortunately there were 5 other people sleeping in the tree house who we woke up. oops. We then headed to another tree house for breakfast, which meant ~2 hrs of uphill climb.

After that we zipped our way back to the village we began trekking from three days ago. On the way we stopped at the guide cabin and played a game like soccer volley ball but with a ball made of dried sticks. It was a lot of fun. Then we headed back to the village and grabbed some beers with our guides to say good bye. We all packed into the back of pickup trucks and headed for the 2 hour drive back to Hauy Xai.

Once we all arrived back we grabbed some beers along the water and all parted ways. Me, Marty and two of our friends Don and Chris came on the night bus with us to Luang Prabang.
