Yes folks it has finally happened.  Finally we have done everything that was needed to be done and we are off.  Tomorrow (Friday) we fly to Turkey for a two week sun drenched break in Icmeler.  Now I know it may seem a bit extreme to sell your house, sell all your possessions and pack in your job just to go on a two week package holiday but that is how we do things.
We have booked a very cheap all inclusive holiday to get some sun, recharge the batteries before we head off up to Istanbul and go wherever we decide.  Turkey is a great place to start the trip as it offers us access to either Eastern Europe or Asia. Who knows where we will go.  I have always wanted to visit Turkey and Istanbul so very excited to be heading there.

Anyway, that's it for now. It is only a short update to let everyone know that we are finally off and it hasn't been an elaborate lie for all this time. Keep reading as hopefully there will be lots more updates and photos.

laura says its a bit extreme to sell your house ,give up your jobs just to go on a 2 week holiday .
