Today we took a day trip to Kutna Hora. The train is a bit confusing when you dont speak Czech. Luckily, it is a popular tourist attraction and we found another group of people going out there who did know what they were doing.

The church is made of skeletons. The story goes that when the grave yard became too full one of the monks went crazy and decided to decorate the church with the bones. It is quite impressive and we decided that our bodies becoming art wasn't so bad in the long run.

We also visitied the Conventual Church of the Assumption of the Virgin. It is in the process of a large rennovation which I wont go into here. However, if you have read "Pillars of the Earth" the story seems freakishly similar.

For lunch we poped into a cafe next to the church only to find that they spoke NO English. Not a lick. We speak no Czech, so we ordered from the menu simply by guessing and pointing. We ended up with chicken filled with ham and cheese. Not too bad concidering we ordered more than blindly. It was a true adventure!

We took the train back and attended a organ concert at St. Nicholas Cathedral. Motzart is said to have played to organ there. The concert was beautiful, as was the lightening through the windows.
