I´m a litle behind, so I´ll keep this short. I took the chicken bus from Chichi to Quetzaltenango to possibly do a trek to Lago Atitlan. However, I got lazy in the end and eventually took a bus, but not before spending 3 days in this cute city, which had lots of good restaurants, fellow travelers (and long-term Spanish students), and a weaving coop, where in 11 short, backbreaking hours I made a scarf. I also traveled outside of the city to the most beautiful hot springs ever, Fuentes Georginas. The hot water trickled down a cliff into three pools where you go be submerged up to the neck. Unfortunately, I didn´t have a charged camera battery, so I´m relying on a fellow traveler, Sarah, to send me photos when she gets a chance. I´ll upload them when I get them.

hand work?
from a spaniard? i'm pretty sure that's an oxymoron. just so you know, i would have finished that scarf in 5.5 hours flat. don't be jealous of my genes... you have boobs. i bet your scarf is beautiful especially since mine would smell like liquor, barf and cigarettes!
