We were recommended to go get some Mexican for brunch, Maria's Taco Xpress looked really cool and the tacos were incredibly cheap! We assumed that because each taco was $2.50 that the meals would be small, how wrong we were. The meals were massive and very scrumptious! There was a great gospel band singing great tunes from a big black man. Ate ourselves silly then watched the band praise the lord.
We waddled back to the city centre to find the bicycle boats, a cool contraption that combines both a bike and a catamaran. HT and I took two out for a spin with GoPro and cameras in hand
We then walked our way to the Reggae festival being held in the centre of Austin near the river. It was a decent sized festival however the security on the drugs side of view was pretty eye opening. People openly selling, dealing and distributing weed to everyone was eye opening. Also AH and me witnessing a lady done up only in body paint, the whole place was pretty weird! The bands were great and we managed to see a killer Grammy award-winning band that took us into the night just perfectly.
After this we got ready for Italian, the food was great, HT ordered the Shrimp Risotto and I got the Aged Rib Pasta. Food was amazing, service was shit. We then went home and crashed once again. It feels like we have 2 days for every one, the long days are killing us all!
