We woke up and had a run through Fortworth with HT and AH. I got way too excited when I saw my first squirrel. We made it back to the campervan and began our journey to Austin – this time with a GPS! It was a funny journey seeing every type of fast food imaginable. Not just once, but every 20 minutes repeated. McDonalds, IHOP, TacoBell, Burger King, KFC, Whataburger, Pizza Hut, the list goes on!! We finally made it in to Austin after some epic traffic in the city. We set up camp and made our way to Whataburger, purely for the name, soon to find it somewhere in the same realm as Hungry Jacks and McDonalds, only shitter. It was here that I had my first experience with supersize and loved the fact that there were 12 different types of soft drink to be had. Way to much fun!

Then of to 6th st, Austin’s music district, it is massive. Every venue was having some kind of band play, from blues to rock and everything in between. We found some killer blues band playing some classic Texas style blues that made my pants fit extra nice, I nearly had to take my pants off when I realised the G&T’s where only $2!!

We continued on our way to an outdoor roof bar and had another drink and then headed to a small Café for dinner. Dinner was nothing special and then we wandered home and slept again. We are all still stupidly tired with all of us crashing before midnight again, myself still fully clothed, but very content.
