Eight days later, we find ourselves tap-dancing at midnight on cold granite stairs (as if we needed three pair of shoes each on a cycle tour.) Prague's cityscape casts spells on all who trod upon her cobbles. Feelings of exaggerated expectation with a dash of euphoria invoke an "anything is possible," maxim akin to a "hip café- Saturday 11am- Morcheeba CD playing- got my BIG latte- just penning the crossword" kind of buzz. The, "I am on the cusp of something genius!" apparition is quickly replaced in a dreamlike logic, with, "I am on the precipice of frustration" ...and every pint deepens the trance.

Strolling Prague's old-town streets invokes plans of grandeur so deceptive, they evince their true nature only when one returns home- thusly, in perspective, these ideas inevitably file themselves into the "bad idea..." category. This phenomenon is akin to other "hard-to-leave" places, namely: Zipolite, Mexico; Bend, Oregon; and Rome, NY before Trinkis Manor burnt down (The lights! The lights!).

PS- Don't miss the "24-hour Don Geovani Vivaldi black-light puppet theater" show time every 3 minutes in all theatres of Old Town.
