I arrived in Sydney to rain and very dark clouds and managed to get myself totally confused by the road system, or lack of it! After coming a cropper to teh central one way system and another toll road, I realised that the handwritten map I had for Graham's house, and the wee Sydney map I had in my road atlas didn't overlap, so to get from one to the other required a 'leap of faith' to say the least! A bit of luck and some excellent directional sense later and I was parked outside the house and ready to have a quick walk around the neighbourhood to get my bearings before everyone got home. I found a couple of nice pubs nearby which I'm sure I'll be visiting with Caet and Graham once I'm back here in a couple of weeks!
Rozelle is a really nice area, and they are renting a really beautiful house there. There's even a pub just a block down the street - what more could I ask for?!?
I got a fabulous welcome, first from Caet and Jack, then Graham when he got home from work as we got (re)acquainted and I filled them in a bit about my travels so far..
I retired to my room and a lovely big bed for the nite - the fact that Jack's sleeping next door I'm sure won't do any harm - he probably won't wake up that early...
5am was my first alarm call from the wee man (and of course an alarm call from his Mum and Dad!) and that was followed by a couple more before I finally amanged to drag myself up and to the shower... All the grown ups looked fairly shattered but not Jack - once again the life and soul of the party!!!
The brief stop was just enough to recharge my batteries and then it was time to get back on the road North (much easier leaving the city than getting into it!)
Off up to Brisbane with a stop somewhere half way to break up the journey!

Graham, Caet and Jack!
. A lovely meal, some beer and wine later and we watched the first every winner of Who Wants to Be a Millionnaire in Australia (first time they've given away the million dollar since it started about 5 years ago!) - I got the feeling it was a little bit fixed, but I might be just cynical!I retired to my room and a lovely big bed for the nite - the fact that Jack's sleeping next door I'm sure won't do any harm - he probably won't wake up that early...
