Basically we're having some equipment tested there that we're supplying, and we need to have it witness tested. A hard life I know, but I have to fly to Singa for a few days to be there for it!
Ah well, off I went and had to endure life in The Regent Hotel - a simply beautiful place off Orchard Road - temperatures close to 30 degrees every day - difficult to leave winter in Perth behind really! - and be looked after on another companies expenses along the way.
Ah well, someone has to do it!
Singapore Business Trip... 01
Along the way I even managed to catch up with Alison Mott (now Alison Pettican) at a bar near the hotel and exchanged stories about her family life in Singapore and my life with Soph and the guys back here in Perth. Lots of fun, and a great catch up.
With the speed that the business trip came around, it was all over again, and on Saturday I was back off on my way home.
A flying visit, but good to see the facilities in Singapore and get to know some of the guys over there too.
Sure I'll have more trips that way in the future, one way or another. :o)
