We made it back safely and on time from Broome and after finally getting our bags (as usual the three bags seemed to be scattered through the plane's hold, even though we all checked in together!) we wandered out into the cool evening air to get a taxi - almost cold compared to the Broome temperatures, but no one was really complaining!
A nice early night was followed by me getting up at 6am again for my usual morning jog... I was tempted to sleep in, but after 4 days of excess in Broome, not to mention the 7 days before that being treated by Mum and Dad, my body really was ready for some fat busting!
We had another really enjoyable week together, even though we all knew that the holiday time was passing far too quickly and it'd soon be time to have to say goodbye at the airport again
For our last couple of days together we managed to head back to Cottesloe Beach for a visit and see the sculpture exhibition they had on the sands and around the Indiana Tea House before having a quick refreshment (non-alcoholic for a change!) and then off to the Swan Valley fo a little bit of wine tasting, buying some honey and - of course - visiting the Margaret River Chocolate Factory... My Dad wouldn't have had it any other way!
Several tastings and many purchases later we were finally able to leave and headed into Guildford to the hotel there and a delicious lunch with cold drinks... What a tough life, eh?
Sadly Sunday afternoon came around all too quickly and after saying goodbye to Sophie at the house I was driving Mum and Dad back to the airport for their long trip home. We said our goodbyes withough too many tears but it's never nice to say goodbye. At least in a few short months I'll be heading home to Aberdeen again for a visit, and this time Sophie's going to be there with me for some of the time - will she cope with Aberdeen? I'm sure she'll be fine!

Mum & Dad Back In Perth... 12
. We enjoyed another BBQ at the house, a meal at the Royal Thai in Leederville and a lovely BBQ on Mum and Dad's last night at Soph's Mum and Dad's house. After a long week at work (well, only 4 days, but it felt really long!) it was nice to have a really relaxing weekend and catch up with them.
