After eating and drinking our fill it was time to head back into town but I decided it'd be fun to swing in past the Sandalfords Winery for a quick tasting (well, it'd be rude not to, being up in the wine region and all...)
Standing at the bar was this fairly rough (sadly!) looking blonde chic with a barcode tattooed on the back of her neck. First impressions were of a very dodgy looking girl who'd been up the night before partying too much and trying to get over it by throwing as much wine down as possible
That Famous Autograph!!!
.You can probably imagine my surprise when I realised that it aws actually Pink with her minder who was visiting Perth as part of her Australian tour, who obviously had been out the night before enjoying the Perth nightlife in preparation for her concerts the next week and was being given extremely generously filled tasting glasses of each of the Sandalfords wines...
Oh to be a celebrity, eh?
As you can imagine it too me some time to muster the courage to go over and speak to her... Well, maybe not, but we had a really cool chat about her tour, travels and being in Australia. She said she loved it here in Perth (but then what else would you say to someone living here, eh?) and then as we were saying goodbye, I asked for her autograph (I admit, I am a bit sad!)
So, here it is, Pink's autograph - I did ask for a photo as well but she declined - either because she was looking (and probably feeling!) so rough, or maybe in case I took it to the newspapers and invented some kind of kiss and tell story...
