It's into the 4th day post surgery and I am physically fluctuating. My jugulars are rather annoyed at me for the 'rack' torture I subjected them to. I went for a swim a couple of days ago...well not much of one as I can't do front crawl as my arms won't rotate enough. Neck, back, shoulders stiff but that part will come back...I did breaststroke and then stretched in the water but it was a wee struggle. I'm not walking as well as I did in the immediate aftermath but then I need to 'really' rest! I'm trying to not overdo it but probably am for someone post surgery. Gotta take my own advice... rest is not your enemy. Right now, I'm sore, a little beaten and just don't know. Can now move and straighten my toes. It's a little hard to breathe deeply as the azygous vein in the chest was ballooned as well. Chest-ballooned sounds an awful lot like implants!! Sorry Cha! But, my tremors and spasticity are the minority and not the majority of the time. Exit chairs better. And I too can jump... Not great air but air; twice! I can hear all my handball friends looking at each other in disbelief and saying "That's amazing because you couldn't jump before"! HAHA oh sorry as the kids would say lol. And no, you can't take me to parties and display my new talents..."i am a human being" (elephant man channel).
I've dispensed with the comma as my punctuation of choice (I believe all sentences are naked without the ample use of commas) and now utilize the dot dot dot...method,,,, pretty effective doncha think Mike!
Speaking of the treatment (that's my method of segway...pretty smooth huh!!) they gave me two cd's of the scans. Get this they only work on pc's so no luck sharing. Also I read the discharge report and the actual stenosis (narrowing) was 90-95% left, 85-90% right; 75-80% chest. And the atmospheres of pressure applied was not 8 but 10-12 atmospheres. Like I even know what an atmosphere is! or could possibly tell the difference! Anyways that's what it says and I do have some 'geeklike' friends that I am sure will figure it out. And you know who you are!
Here's the questions. If your veins are narrowed, clogged or twisted; How is that a good thing??? Why is that not cause for concern??? Nobodies saying this is the exact cause and/or cure but there is still something wrong with our veins...Granted i won't get back the majority of what I've lost, my myelin is damaged and there is spinal and brain plaque. But increased veinous flow resulted in improvment. The medical community is divided over all this consisting of: pharmaceutical, neurology, vascular, all are coming from siloized (that's correct new word meaning 'to silo') perspectives. Can't there be one big Sandbox!! (Rodney King channel).
Regardless I am unbelievably grateful for the few days I've had... I'm hopeful the conventional medical community will be there to assist as necessary, with any resulting complications. Yeah I'm feeling a little better this morning
