This Blog contains what I know everyone is really wanting - not just pictures - but videos!  Before and after surgery.  Some still shots - and more to come... over the coming days when we venture out on some excursions.

Credit for finally getting my pictures off my camera (I forgot the jump cable for it at home) belongs to Taps & Johhny -they have been childhood friends - Johnny is here to support Taps.  (See guys - we told you we'd get you into the blog:~).  Taps "McGivered" my micro chip through their blackberry to get the pictures so I could post them.  So thankful - couldn't find a cord ANYWHERE in this city.  They really did the impossible - the only reason I'm able to post these is because of them.  Thanks guys!

So, today's first entry is all about pictures

The 'Before' is on Doc's way INTO the hospital 48 hours before the 'After' Video - which was taken a mere 36 hours after the surgery.  You know friends, if it wasn't me behind the camera, I would suggest it must be trick photography.  You will see what I'm talking about...

Please, enjoy this.  I sure am :~)

(Don't want to overwhelm you - a while ago I thought Doc was slamming the window a few feet away from me... but indeed, he was jumping!  Up and down... and in bare feet... (Slow down big fella... we have to save some of this for the next blog I keep telling him...:~).

More to come...

This is great Doc! I just found the blog now so got to read the whole before and after story in one go - thankfully, as I was on the edge of my seat! I'm so happy for you. What a great friend Kim is - glad he could be there to support you. All the best as your recovery continues!

Wow. Great work Kim! That video is astonishing. Hard to believe there's that much improvement, that quickly! Now if you could just do something about Doc's fashion sense...

Just got this from Denise Donlon. She's away from computers at the moment and asked if I'd pass it along to you...

hi Mike! !
glad to see CBC's on it - will send to Saskatchewan as well as TWO people I know who have MS too.
I'm away from computer, so

Can you post this to Doc for me???

Hey Doc!! sending this through Mr. Campbell. SOOO amazing and courageous of you to take this on - both physically and politically! But then, you always were a mighty impressive cat!!
Sending you big love and strength for this journey and beyond.
Massive hugs to you

Steph on

Honey, this is incredible. Everyone has cried tears of joy. When you put your mind to something ~ you do it and thank God for that! You're the bravest human I know and a true inspiration. This IS just the beginning. Look forward to our swim in September - just don't forget your freaking swim suit! Loving you, Steph xxx
