Decided to go see some more of the south island while work in Queenstown is hard to come by - so first up was Invercargill.

Drive down was uneventfull - little traffic and not many stops. We arrived just before 5 and went tot he I-Site to book a ferry to Stewart Island for the next day. That done we found Southern Comfort - a nice little hostel 10 mins from town.

Buger King was on the menu (none anywhere near Queenstown!) and then went for a beer. Invercargill must have the quietest bars I have ever been to during the week! Eventually gave up after realising just how busy Queenstown really is and had a faily early night ready for tomorrows ferry.
