Next Stop on the Kiwi Experience is Taupo. This has been a lazy stop - went out on Friday night and had a fair few, then spent Saturday wandering around the shops and chilling. I had planned to revisit the Tongario Crossing, but my smashed shin is not compatible with walking.
There are also some MTB trails round here I wanted to check out, but the rental place was closing early, so I just gave up. I did get my washing done though ;-).
Onto River Valley for some rafting tomorrow.
