just spent 6 very relaxing days on the Pearl Islands.

Pretty Scarry flights there and back but some awesome electrical & torrential rain storms...

Stayed at a rather Cheesily-Named Villa Romantica but it was, so we weren´t complaining!

Boat trip around a few islands, lots of swimming in crystal clear waters, spear fishing, lovely food, moonlit walks along the beach, a fabulous way to finish off the trip.

Booked a flight back to the mainland, then woke up and the beach looked so enticing that we stayed another day (and we´re not even beach people)!

It´s just a pity we have to return to Panama for a few days, to see the canal and some final shopping. I hope the demonstrations have stopped by the time we get there...
