Arrived in Panama City and had a quiet wander around. Visited the old town, from the pirate era, when Captain Morgan (heard of the rum?) sacked the town. The queen´s subjects get a pretty bad press here. SIR Francis Drake is refered to a pirate too! I have to correct them on their sekective history skills. Compared to old Havana, it was a disappointment, so we heaved off for lunch and ticked it off the list of things to see. The fish market was amazing, 15kg snapper, 2ft sea bass, such cheap lobster and langostines... Emma kept her distance, not a big fan of seafood!

Huge Demonstrations in the streets so heading off to the islands for a few days... Lots of police and military around on bike, rounding up protesters. Some complaint that they have to defer retirement until 65 and might have to pay 1% more tax... up to 8%...
