Hot and humid! We are currently in Puerto Iguazu, which is on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. The last couple of days have been great and tonight we even have the luxury of Air-con!
Beunos Aires is a great city, except for the ridiculous amount of dog shit on the pavements. We were there for 5 days and were exhausted by the end of it. Hours can be spent in cafes, restaurants, bars, walking around the different areas and just taking in the atmosphere. One of the highlights was watching a tango show which did induce some sporadic leg shaking out of me; and a football game. You have to go to these with guides to the football as they reckon it is dangerous, but the atmosphere and excitement was amazing. We also spent hours at good restaurants being sure to sample all the Argentinian beers and eat a lot of steak!
Next we headed to a small town, San Ignacio which has some Jesuit ruins. Some very impressive guys built these years ago until the damn Paraguayans tore them down! From there it was up to Puerto Iguazu which is where I am writing this...Today we spent the whole day at the Iguazu Falls - they are unbelievable - I think we got to look at them from every imaginable angle!
Tomorrow it is off to Paraguay to tackle the mozzies - Wish us luck!
