Kevin and Kan joined us in Pichilemu. Jan is a German friend who hiked Aconcagua with us. Pichilemu is a great place for surfing. Apparently has Chiles best left hand break! We went down to the beach, looked at the waves and decided they were way to big for us - so we went to the closest surf shop and hired some boards. The waves were great - if you knew what you were doing! Paddled about for a few hours and caught a handfull for waves. Then went to Punto Lobobs to look for beachfront accomodation, but none were available. Punto de Lobos (Sea Wolf Point) is an amazing bluff jutting out inot the sea, where you can watch the surfers below you. We settled for a great place in the hills nearby, after checking out some really dodgy places. Played drinking card games till 2am ish. Very nice surfing area this...
Last couple of days has involved lazy surfing, some touring the countryside and drinking games. We have a German guy with us called Jan, who did Aconcagua with us. Our little wooden chalet in the hills has been great, our hosts (from Mendoza!) are great too. Had a braai with some home made keebabs, and went down to the beach for some R&R.

Drove back to Santiago, to meet Matt and Asti. Looking forward to travelling with them for the next couple of months.
