Trinidade is a small village only an hour south of Parati and is a stunning tropical paradise. The thick Atlantic rainforest reaches right down to the beach to lick at the brilliant blue sea. White beaches curve along the bays and we were often the only people on them. Unfortunately, we had a total of one afternoon of sunshine in the four days that we were there, but we made the most of it and the beaches were even more beautiful with the sun out. We walked through the forests and up the streams to many waterfalls and other deserted beaches always accompanied by Toca the neighbour's dog. It really was a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to spend a few days and experience the Brazilian beaches.
