Iguassu

We are now at the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Stopped off at the thermal springs in Salto on our way north: beautiful grassy park with a few swimming pools set at 30-plus degrees. Iguassu is an amazing place. We walked along the Argentinian side on the first day, where I took most of the photos. The Brazillian side was more interactive. Wandered through the tropical rainforest, out to 'Devil's Throat' where the major falls join and you are practically standing on top of the roaring water. We took a jet-boat ride through the gorge and right under some of the major falls. Absolutely drenched. So much fun. Out on the town again. Everyone goes out here. It was 2am...on one side of us there was an 8 year old's birthday party and on the other side there were some sodden male tourists and their escorts. And everyone hit the dancefloor in a big way - groups of senior senhoras on a girls night out, loads of couples and our group bopping away to dire straits. So much fun...back in time for the 6am checkout from the hotel. Off to the islands.
