Mid-day we drove to the Eurostar station (about an hour) and took the 2 hour trip to Paris.  We grabbed a smoke-filled taxi from the station to our hotel in the Rue Cler district near the Eiffel Tower.  Loved the hotel, loved the neighborhood.
