Dear Diary,

While I am impressed with Todd's overzealous desire to learn Vietnamese (he has purchased a notebook and pen to write down new words and carries two phrasebooks at all times!), I can't help but question his motives.

Does he sincerely wish to learn the language or does he secretly enjoy making all the women smile, blush and giggle when he speaks to them?
