This weekend I went and finished my open water certification on the south coast of NSW.  We did three shore dives at Merimbula and saw a bull ray, zebra fish, lots of little rays, and a couple of giant groper.  The next day we did a boat dive at the Eden chipmill and saw our hands in front of our faces, maybe.  And my head got up close and personal with a pylon or two.  Yeah, basically couldn't see anything.  Water was chilly too.

But it was still a lot of fun.  On the drive back we got stuck in a cattle drive on the highway.  a mile of cows, one guy, one horse, and one dog.  It was interesting.  And there was someone driving a truck leading five or six horses running along with.  Not sure if they were related to Mr. Cattle Driver or no.
