The bus to Dalat was the worst one I've been on yet!! It's safe to say that there was no suspension left on that bus. I kept hitting my head off the window and Simon! Luckily it was only for 6 hours. We only had half a day to spend in Dalat as it was just to break up the journey to Mui Ne. Unfortunately, we got the rainy half and there was thunder and lightening for most of the evening.
We got there at 2 in the afternoon so as soon as the rain eased off slightly we went out, mostly in search of an ATM but once we got out and about we decided to see some sights. We saw the cathedral which looked dilapidated so no photo of that bur we went to a place called Crazy House Guesthouse which was designed with all these crazy rooms with animal themes. There was Tiger room, Bear Room etc. It was interesting and definitely different from all the temples we've been seeing of late. Apparently you can stay there too, though all the rooms have mirrors on the ceiling so not sure what type of clientele they cater for!
Anyway, that was Dalat. Short but we got something unexpected from it. The next morning it was on the bus again to the beach resort of Mui Ne.
