Here's what I've learned about Asian elephants versus African elephants:  Asian elephants have smaller ears!  Below find some photos of two elephants that featured in a festival outside of my internet cafe.  Abu, the internet cafe owner, showed me where I could see the elephants preparing for their performance, at the back of the building.  Another lucky timing tale.. the elephant handlers were happy for me to click away.  The little elephant was such a cutie.. and it was nice to see that both of the elephants were well looked after, and treated with kindness.
