Intense and severe lightning storm tonight! Hotels in next town have lost power and are trying to find alternate accommodations for their guests. Luckily we still have power. Heavy rain and wind accompanied storm. All we need is a fireplace and some popcorn!

Thanx for the updates Marie. Sounds like a challenging trip to Maine so far! Meantime back home we had record temperatures yesterday...driving home from work at 3:00 it was 28 C. in Burnaby. Ouch! I guess you are noodling around that area and then heading to Beantown soon. Keep your chins up and tell Kim to load up on the Vitamin C.

Heard lots about the storm today, as all the east coasters in the meeting had been advised that their flights would be delayed at least 2 hours if they got out at all.

Sure hope Kim is feeling better.

Meetings here going well, but it was 103F today. Couldn't walk the 10 mins. to the restaurant I wanted for dinner, because I couldn't take the heat, so opted for the Red Lobster at the end of the block. :-) All that crap about, "But it's a dry heat," is a bunch of hooey!

Umm... where are the photos you keep promising???
