Walked the Brooklyn Bridge. That was just something I wanted to do. Wouldn't do again, couldn't see much. We are getting really good at subway, even changed trains. Trick seems to be make sure you are going in the right direction!
My fave designer discount department store closed due to Rosh Hashanah. So off we went to the High Line which we were told to see.
Went through Chelsea Market. Liked. See pics attached tonight.
A couple of tourists trying to get on the subway car had doors start to shut so passengers push the doors open. Tourists try again and doors did the same and passengers opened them but same thing. Third time successful. We were the tourists. It was rush hour and the train was packed. Wow.
We walked the entire High Line. A quiet walk, interesting architecture and Art Deco buildings. Walked back to hotel. Had to power on through to get back here. Cabs don't like short rides and will refuse you.
Tonight went up to Times Square just to confirm we didn't like it lol. It's confirmed.
Tomorrow we will be all over the place I think....The Park and down to the Village and SoHo
